How to Recover unsaved word documents

How many times you accidently hit the close button without saving your important word documents??? That's disaster,right?


But don't you know that microsoft word does a backup of your docs every 10 minutes ( unless you change this options)


So,here is the solution:


Word 03: You can head to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Word or C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temp then change "Arrange icons by" to "Modified" and open the lastest files,you will get what you (think you have) lost. (you will need to change folder options to show hidden files and folders first)


In Word 07: It's easier if you are using word 07 because it will automatic recover your doc once you open it again.


Make sure that you will never face this situation again

Remove shortcut arrow from desktop icons

Here's how you can remove those shortcut arrows from your desktop icons in Windows XP.

1. Start regedit.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile
3. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.

You may need to restart Windows XP.

DLL's (dynamic link library), basically a combination of executables files that can be used by Windows programs to run properly. Some time you received a sudden pop-up message "System could not fine this DLL file" for example binkw32, maxkernl. Normally you received these types of messages when you installed any new application, computer driver program and some time due to computer mishandling. Actually some DLL files are deactivated due to new software's installation but don't worry you can reactivate these file with the help of a simple command called Regsvr32.

To activate the missing dll file go the Start then Run and type here "regsrv32 with missing dll file name" for example you missed "urlmon.dll" file then you will type in Run "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" and press Ok button. Your system will activate this missing file and hopefully you will not get this missing message again.

Download Video From Any Site Without Software !!

STEPS:

1.Play the video fully or atleast buffer it fully
2.Click Start >all programs>accessories>system tools>disk clean up
3.Select your default windows drive which is usually c
4.select Temp internet files and click View files
5.Make sure u have checked that hidden folders and system files are visible
6.3 or4 folders will be there , enter each and of them and change view settings to details (Ignore any warnings that may come)
7.Look for a file of size larger than 1 mb or so (usually 1 minute videos will be 1 mb and for each mb it may be 1 mb more)
8. copy them to another directory and rename them to something.flv or .mp4


If u use opera then
play file fully
then open my computer>documents and settings>Local settings>Application data>opera>opera>your profile>cahce 4
change view to details and find the largest file .It is your video


For both to work donot close the browser after the video is buffered
and both hidden files and system files must be visible.

This method is usefull for nearly all sites.

In notepad click then . For file type in the save dialog box
